Thinking of Shannon ............
It looks like Shannon's Husband is getting ready to deploy to the Middle East again. Damn, I hate it for her. It has to be harder on the Wimmin' folk left behind than those who do the going.

I haven't been over there in awhile and had forgotten that he had an upcoming deployment. Gotta be tuff. God bless our Military folks. And their families.

Hang in there, girl. We'll be thinking of you and yours.

Warm and Fuzzy News Update to Last Weeks Story!!!!

OK Kids. I reported here last week on Why It's a Good Idea to be Nice to ER Nurses .
"When Susan Kuhnhausen returned home from work one day earlier this month, she encountered an intruder wielding a claw hammer. After a struggle, the 51-year-old nurse fended off her attacker by strangling him with her bare hands." (OK, I'm getting a woody just reading that again.)

Well, as it turns out, there is a bit more to the story. Like, It Wasn't a Random Act at All.

Apparently, the late Edward Dalton Haffey, who got his ass strangled to death for bringing a hammer to a 'Death Wrestling Match', had been hired by Michael James Kuhnhausen Sr, as a hit man.

"Kuhnhausen and his wife were in the process of getting a divorce, and she told officers "her husband was distraught about the divorce and wanting to reconcile but that she was insisting on the divorce,"

Imagine that. It appears that Mrs Kuhnhausen may well have had good reason for - "insisting on the divorce,"

Lordy, She put the ultimate beatdown on a would be assassin and took care of her, soon to be, ex-husband without even knowing it. That's like fucking two people at once.

Her Kung Fu is strong.

Oh, so do we address Mr Kuhnhausen as her ESTRANGLED husband now?

What's Going On With Scandinavia and Jim Redman ?

I was looking thru the referral logs this morning. It's not something I do very often but I was over checking out, new commenter Mrs Jose Goldbloom's place and saw a post there about the recent search terms people used to get there. So I went and checked out the sitemeter here.

I seldom ever check the stats to this place. But the over the last couple of days I got a bunch of hits from Norway and Finland with Jim Redman in the search string. Any idea what that's about?

Everyone in Scandinavia is looking for you, Jim.

Guessing Game ...............

My speedometer cable broke the other day. Bummer. I wasn't for sure just exactly what was wrong till a couple of minutes ago when I pulled it apart.

Yep, it's broken.

Well, looks like I will be driving w/o a working speedo and odometer till the parts get here.

Guess I'll go head over Ron Ayers and see how much Ma Kaw is gonna knick me on the parts. Well, it looks like it's not gonna hurt much at all. Less than $12.00 + shipping. The shipping policy at Ayers is a bit hinky. It's $8.00 no matter what you order. $2.00 part? $8.00 bucks shipping. $1200 part? $8 bucks shipping. Good deal if you're spending a lot. Not so good a deal if you only NEED a speedo cable.

So, what to do? Go shopping for some other stuff I will probably need in the future, I suppose. I've already replaced the throttle cables ................ I'm sure I can come up with something.
