Not Your Normal Ride Today ..........
Went riding this morning with Mr T, XRay Tech Extrordinaire and all around Smart Ass. He's got a heavy dirt bike background and rides a Suzuki Vstrom 1000. Good rider and a good person to ride with.
We ended up riding a bunch of very country, gravel roads. Now the Vstrom is not a bad bike for that shit. While on the other hand, my Concours is a bit of a landwhale. Hey, it's all good. I've gotten more comfortable riding on that stuff over the last year or so and really had a good time.
We split our gravel/pavement about 50/50 and were out for 3+ hours. Mr T had to be somewhere so we had to cut it short. WE didn't cover a whole lot of actual miles, because our speed was seriously reduced by the roads we were on.
Maybe I should clarify that. My speed was seriously reduced on the gravel.
I'm gonna have the BigBluePlasticKawasaki paid for shortly. And since Dogboy has moved out, there's a hole in the garage that a 650 KLR or a 650 Vstrom would fit into nicely.
What to do??????
Post a picture of an old Guzzi Dustbin Racer, That's what!
