More at SFGate.com : “The San Francisco Entertainment Commission is investigating whether a North Beach-area night club near the scene of a shooting that left a young man seriously injured may have broken any rules.
The police department is already investigating the shooting, which occurred early Monday morning in the 600 block of Jackson Street, where the L'Amour night club is located. Responding to a report at 1:30 a.m., officers arrested a 17-year old San Francisco man for shooting a 21-year-old Oakland man in the abdomen. According to a police spokesman, witnesses say the shooting occurred outside the club.
But the commission is responsible for ensuring that the city's nightclubs follow regulations, and Executive Director Robert Davis said he is examining whether the suspect had been allowed inside the club even though he was under-age. A spokesperson for the club could not be reached for comment Tuesday.”
