On top of the passage of the Urban Design Plan last Wednesday night, Lennar and the City of San Francisco won in court according to this SF Chronicle article :

The state Supreme Court gave a green light Wednesday to San Francisco's large-scale redevelopment plan for Bayview-Hunters Point, rejecting an appeal by a local group .
The court unanimously denied review of a lower court ruling disqualifying a referendum that opponents circulated for the ballot in 2006. They collected more than the 21,615 signatures needed to require a citywide vote, but failed to attach a copy of the redevelopment plan to their petitions - an omission that the courts cited in pulling the referendum.
The Board of Supervisors voted in May 2006 to place nearly 1,400 acres, more than half of Bayview-Hunters Point, under control of the city Redevelopment Agency.
Backers said the plan would reduce blight, promote affordable housing and provide startup money for businesses from new tax revenue.
