Recently California Senator Mark Leno (Dist 3 - San Francisco / San Rafael) successfully passed SB 792 at the request of the City and County of San Francisco. The bill reportedly will cause millions of dollars of improvement to state land, including Candlestick Point, which needs the help.
There's an idea that the park's in "really great condition" and doesn't need help, as I was told a few months ago. The person asked me to go down for myself and look around.
So I did.
